For more than 80 years, the Chester First Aid Squad has proudly provided free, volunteer-based emergency medical services to Chester Township, Chester Borough, and surrounding communities.
Founded in 1945, CFAS is built on neighbors helping neighbors—delivering skilled, compassionate care when it matters most. Our volunteers respond day and night, in all weather, with one goal: to be there when our community needs us.
Our Members
Behind every call is a team of committed volunteers—EMTs, drivers, first responders and officers—who train continuously. Our members come from all walks of life but share one mission: serving Chester with professionalism and compassion.
